Industrial energy assessments at LSU ITAC
Industrial field assessments with separate recommended and implemented savings records.
My contribution
Lead assessments, analyze utility bills and on-site measurements, perform energy balances, and author client technical reports.
Field work
I lead energy-assessment work at LSU ITAC, combining utility-bill analysis, on-site measurement, engineering calculations, and client technical reporting.
Recommended and implemented outcomes
The October 22, 2026 workbook reports 16 assessments and 8,208,899 kWh/year in recommended electricity savings. The 11 assessments with implementation reports account for 5,950,754 kWh/year in implemented electricity savings.
The November 2 CV separately reports over $1 million in recommended annual energy, productivity, and waste savings and over $500,000 in implemented annual savings. These are assessment-associated totals, not solely personal outcomes.
Findings
Reported results, grouped by sample. Each figure keeps its own scale and links to its source and method.
Assessments with recommendations
16 assessments. October 22, 2026 workbook assessment total.

Evaluation Scope & Methodology
Samples, denominators, uncertainty, sources and limits
Approach
Dated assessment totals distinguish recommended electricity savings from reported implementation.
Cohorts and samples
| Cohort | Sample | Definition |
|---|---|---|
| Assessments with recommendations | 16 assessments | October 22, 2026 workbook assessment total. |
| Assessments with implementation reports | 11 assessments | Available implementation-report subset. This is not a matched 16-assessment conversion cohort. |
Reported measures
| Measure | Unit | Cohort | Denominator | Uncertainty | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recommended annual electricity savings | kWh per year | Assessments with recommendations | 16 assessments with recommendations | None reported | Reported in source |
| Implemented annual electricity savings | kWh per year | Assessments with implementation reports | 11 assessments with implementation reports | None reported | Reported in source |
Limitations
- Recommended savings are not implemented savings.
- The implementation subset is not a matched conversion-rate denominator for all 16 assessments.
- Program totals are not solely attributable to one team member.
- No verified avoided-CO2 total or client report is published here.
